After qualifying 9th in his full time 450SX debut at the 2014 Anaheim 1 Supercross, GEICO/Honda’s Eli Tomac tangled with Weston Peick and Jake Weimer and went down. The crash itself didn’t look too bad, but after Eli did not report to the starting line in his semi, it was reported that Eli went to the hospital to get checked out for a possible pinched nerve in his shoulder. Scoring zero points while his fellow rookie, Ken Roczen, grabbed his first win had to be a tough pill to swallow, but you can be sure Eli will come back swinging soon.
