We just read over at RacerX that the current 250SX Easter Regional Championship points leader, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Martin Davalos, crashed and possibly injured his leg or ankle out at Milestone. This would be a huge blow to the veteran from Ecuador and the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki squad heading into the final two rounds of the Championship. Martin had just shown everyone how much this Championship meant with his second win of the year in St. Louis.

As it sits now, Davalos has an eight-point lead over GEICO/Honda’s Justin Bogle. With Blake Baggett 21 points behind Bogle, the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team’s Championship hopes would be nil—which is crazy considering both Adam Cianciarulo and Davalos had a lock on the points before going out injured. So far there’s no confirmation on any injury, so we’re hoping all is okay. You can read RacerX’s report here.
