MAD Racing/Suzuki’s Matt Bisceglia crashed in the whoops while practicing for the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross season and broke his collarbone. With a broken collarbone there are a lot of variables that change recovery time considerably from one injury to the another. Matt said in an Instagram post that he will have the collarbone surgically plated, so he may even be ready for Anaheim 1.

The new MAD Racing/Yoshimura/Suzuki team had slated Matt to contest the Western Regional 250SX Championship and Daniel Baker contesting the Eastern Regional 250SX Championship, but Matt’s injury could swap the two riders. Matt said after his crash “Lucky to have the best of jobs even on the worst of days. Whoops came up an bit me today and I broke my collarbone that will require surgery. Gonna get the puppy plated so I can get back at it soon.”

We will bring you more news as soon as we know more.
