Episode 3 to highlight the fierce competitiveness between Cole Seely and Jason Anderson, plus the altercation between Weston Peick and Vince Friese in Anaheim
Feld Entertainment® announced today that the third episode of the documentary series Monster Energy Supercross – Chasing the Dream will air tomorrow, Sunday, April 24, on FS1 at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT, mere hours after the checkered flag flies at Gillette Stadium for the fifteenth race of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, on Saturday night.
Chasing the Dream is an unscripted, all-access, behind-the-scenes look at the key personalities that make up the world’s most intense and physically demanding off-road motorcycle championship. The highly acclaimed television series takes viewers beyond the race track, providing an exclusive look into everything that goes on in the life of Monster Energy Supercross’ most high profile athletes. With so many storylines surrounding the 2016 season, Chasing the Dream dives into the drama and intrigue surrounding each rider’s title hopes.
The third installment of Chasing the Dream kicks off at Round 1 in Anaheim with never-before-seen footage of Weston Peick and the Autotrader/Monster Energy/Yamaha team in the pits after the infamous brawl with Smartop MotoConcepts Racing’s Vince Friese during the semi race. Then, follow Peick into Glendale, Arizona, as he battles through injury. In this episode of Chasing the Dream, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac starts off looking strong at Race 6 in San Diego, but after the Main Event, his results weren’t what he was hoping for. Go behind the scenes to Monster Energy Supercross in Atlanta, following the battles on and off the track and explore the rivalry between Team Honda HRC’s Cole Seely and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Jason Anderson.
“As Monster Energy Supercross continues to grow, reaching larger audiences both at the races and on television, it is imperative that fans of the sport have the opportunity to learn more about its athletes off of the track,” said Dave Prater, Senior Director of Supercross, Feld Entertainment. “These competitors are truly special and the sacrifices they make stand alone in the sporting world. I am very excited about this episode of Chasing the Dream as it dives deeper into some of the rivalries that make Monster Energy Supercross so great.”
The entire 2016 Monster Energy Supercross Championship will air live on FOX Sports, including two races on the FOX broadcast channel. In addition, the authenticated FOX Sports Go app will live stream each race.
