In the second 250MX moto at the 2016 Tennessee national, Star Racing / Yamaha’s Cooper Webb drilled Monster Energy / Pro Circuit / Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo while trying to get to the front. After the moto Webb apologized on the podium, “I really want to say sorry to Adam. I didn’t mean it to end like that. I thought he was going to the berm. I want to apologize, and I hope he’s alright.” Webb went on to win moto two, and Adam crossed the line in 22nd.
