• Washougal has hosted a round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship dating back to 1980, making it the premier and longest-running motorsports event in the Pacific Northwest.

• The scenic landscape of the Washougal track also makes it one of the most challenging venues. It features some of the most iconic obstacles in Pro Motocross like Horsepower Hill and the legendary whoops that lead riders to the finish.

• In 35 seasons of Pro Motocross competition at Washougal there have been just three international winners across both classes. Ben Townley was first in ’07 (250 Class), followed by Chad Reed in ’09 (450 Class) and Marvin Musquin in ‘14 (250 Class).

• There has also been just one Pacific Northwest native to win in Washougal in either the 450 Class or 250 Class. Ryan Villopoto took his one and only hometown win in 2013, in his fifth attempt.
