Australia’s top dirt bike riders are set to battle it out for a share of a massive $80,000 prizepool at the countries first ever Rhythm X competition at Symmons Plains.

With riders being able to compete in both the new Rhythm competition and the Supercross competition on November 19th it provides two chances to take home some serious cash.

The breakdown will see the winner of the 450cc Rhythm competition take home a massive $20,000 and if they are in tune with the Supercross track on the day also they could take a further $10,000 for that discipline.  With a considerable breakdown to 16th place in Rhythm and 20th place in Supercross it means all riders can get excited.

Top Australian riders have already committed to racing Rhythm X with current Supercross champion Dan Reardon (Yamaha) set to line up for both disciplines and along side him in the gates will be Kade Mosig (Kawasaki).

“I’m so excited to head down to Tasmania and race Rhythm X. Cannot wait to see what Jason Baker will build.  This event will be the highlight of the year,” Mosig declared

Adding to the crack field of Australian elite dirt riders coming for the Australian first event is recently chosen Team Australia member for Motocross of Nations in Italy Dean Ferris (Yamaha).

“It’s exciting to be riding the first straight Rhythm in Australia. The pressure will be off from all of the Australia SX series so this will be a really fun event,” 26 year old Ferris said.

More top riders will be sure to jump on board with what will be the largest prize money event of the year.

“We really wanted to create this event for the riders focusing on amazing tracks and great prize money,” Rhythm X Directors Richard Stevenson and Matt Carey said.

“It’s a great chance for riders at the end of the season to come down to beautiful Tasmania to race hard, enjoy the weekend and take home a great pay cheque” they added.
