Jed Beaton—the MX2 representative for Team Australia—has been ruled out of the 2016 Motocross of Nations following a practice crash where he suffered a fractured collarbone.
“Devastated to say I won’t be throwing on the green and gold to represent my country at the MXoN,” said Beaton. “I had a small crash on Friday riding at Lommel and fractured my Collarbone. I’m very sorry to everyone that made this possible and so sorry to let everyone down.”
There’s no official word on who Team Australia will call on to fill in, but they will no doubt act fast. We will update you more as soon as we get word on who the replacement will be.
