ELLENTON, Fla. (December 29, 2016) – Feld Entertainment announced today that Nashville-based artist DJ KO will return for all 14 rounds of the 2017 AMSOIL Arenacross season. The certified platinum producer released his first EP in 2016, High Gravity, which includes the single “Step Up,” the music video commemorated and highlighted the award-winning producer’s first season with the championship series.
“The 2017 Arenacross Season is going to be epic! I am honored to announce I will be joining the show for all of the dates! This will be my second year on the road with the most intense show to hit your city. DJ KO and Feld Entertainment are looking to take this show to a whole new level! Hope you are ready,” exclaimed DJ KO.
DJ KO will continue to enhance the AMSOIL Arenacross fan experience from track parties to the live event. As an ACM nominated artist to being a recognized RIAA Certified Platinum producer as one half of Phivestarr Productions, DJ KO is a staple in the country music world; he has worked with renowned artists like Brantley Gilbert, Jamie Johnson, Colt Ford, and has done official remixes for Carrie Underwood, Jake Owen and Dolly Parton. He is a fixture in the Atlanta music scene, a resident DJ at Atlanta’s premier EDM venue, “Opera Nightclub,” and was runner up in the “Red Bull Thre3style” DJ competition in 2011.
While unparalleled levels of competition will serve as the foundation of the 2017 season, DJ KO’s hard-hitting beats will provide the perfect platform for excitement and drama produced on the track. DJ KO is part of AMSOIL Arenacross’ commitment to an enhanced fan experience, combining the intensity of a nightclub with the world’s most intense form of racing, setting the stage for a heart-pumping, energy-fueled spectacle.
“Having DJ KO as part of AMSOIL Arenacross amplifies the already action-packed racing,” said Bill Heras Director of Operations for AMSOIL Arenacross. “We are excited to partner with such a great artist and entertainer- he is the total package and a great compliment to what families will get to experience.”
AMSOIL Arenacross’ resurgence has been met with growing audiences at venues throughout the country. Competition is at an all-time high, arguably the most competitive in history, and the integration of a dedicated entertainment component to the experience is sure to leave fans yearning for more.
The 2017 AMSOIL Arenacross season kicks off on Saturday, January 7, from U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati and will visit a total of 13 different states before crowning a champion at the Orleans Arena on Friday, May 5, in Las Vegas. Tickets to all 14 rounds of the 2017 season are on sale now.
