Great news for the sport, two times AMA 450 Motocross champion, former MX2 world champion, and current leader in the AMA Supercross championship, Ken Roczen has told fans at the Dortmund Supercross (via a video interview) that he will race the 2017 Motocross of Nations, set for the Matterley Basin circuit in England.

It was a simple message of. “I will start the MXoN in Matterley Basin for Germany in 2017”, and the crowd went nuts.

Of course it was in 2012 that Roczen led Team Germany to victory at the Lommel circuit. He also rode the 2013 MXoN in Germany, but hasn’t ridden since.

He didn’t ride in 2014, 2015 or 2016 but will lineup this year. Hopefully he and Jeffrey Herlings will both be fit and we get to see the two riders many feel at the best in the world go head to head.
