Saturday night’s race will be the landmark 70th Monster Energy Supercross race hosted in Anaheim, on the hallowed grounds of Angel Stadium.

The eventual champion in the 450SX Class has won at least once in Anaheim in 25 of 37 seasons (67%).

The eventual Western Regional 250SX Class Champion has won at least one race in Anaheim in 21 of 29 seasons (72%).

Anaheim will host the final Southern California stop for the first time since 2010, and just the fifth time since Angel Stadium started hosting multiple rounds during the 1999 season.

All-Time 450SX Class Stats: Anaheim

The first 450SX Class hosted in Anaheim was on December 4, 1976. Marty Smith won on a Honda.

Ken Roczen made history with his season-opening win two weeks ago, becoming the first rider in history to win three Anaheim openers aboard three different brands. Ricky Carmichael is the only other rider to win aboard three different brands in Anaheim.

Roczen’s three career Anaheim opener victories tie him with Chad Reed for the most all time.

Roczen’s four Anaheim wins ties him with his main rival Ryan Dungey on the all-time list. Together they have won six of the last seven races at Angel Stadium.

The last rider to sweep victories in Anaheim was Ryan Villopoto in 2012. That feat has been achieved five times since 1999. A total of 13 riders have won in Anaheim at least twice in the same season.

Honda is now tied with Yamaha as the winningest brands in Anaheim history.
