With two races of the 2017 Western Regional 250SX Supercross Championship in the books, Troy Lee Designs / KTM’s Shane McElrath has established himself as the man to beat with two wins. Star Racing / Yamaha’s Aaron Plessinger has been the fastest man in both main events, but has not been able to get himself to the front off the start. Monster Energy / Pro Circuit / Kawasaki’s Justin Hill has had a similar problem as well. There’s still plenty of time for someone else to step up, but those three look to be the odds on favorites at the moment.
