Early in his 450SX Heat Race at the 2017 Minneapolis SX, Monster Energy / Yamaha’s Cooper Webb hit the ground hard and injured his shoulder. The #2 did not return for the rest of the night in Minneapolis and today he released a vague update on his shoulder injury.

“Well pretty shitty turn of events in Minneapolis, Cooper said from his @CooperWebb2 Instagram account. “Heat race 1st turn crash left me with a hurt shoulder. As of now have nothing to major. Going to the drs tomorrow to get the final word on things. Nothing major be back soon.”

While Cooper was not specific about the extent of his shoulder injury, it sounds like we may see the rookie back in action soon. We will update you more when we have more information from Cooper or the Monster Energy / Yamaha team. Check out Cooper’s Instagram update below.
