The 51FIFTY Energy Drink Yamaha Team is proud to announce Noah McConahy (#59) will join team riders Tyler Bowers (#52) and Hayden Mellross (#64) under the tent for the remainder of the Supercross series. The hard-working privateer earned a fill-in ride with the team earlier in the season and proved to be a valuable addition.

McConahy joined the team only riding the YZ250F for 2 days prior to the Oakland Supercross. His rear end spent more time on the dirt than on his seat during practice but he showed his mettle, determination and positive attitude. Working with team staff, studying lines/track map with Team Manager Craig Monty and Tyler Bowers, Noah made the Main that night. He’d then be involved in a first turn crash but charged from nearly last to a career-best 9th; expressing the 51FIFTY tagline, “Live the Madness, Never Quit!”

Noah brings bounds of enthusiasm to the test track, his personality adding to the team chemistry and it was in everyone’s best interest to continue building together. With Bowers already back riding and Hayden Mellross fully healed from a hand injury, 51FIFTY Yamaha will field a three (3) rider team in Seattle and the remaining rounds of the 250 West Coast Supercross Series.

Local boy Noah McConahy (#59) will line up in Seattle in front of his hometown crowd aboard the 51FIFTY Yamaha YZ250F. The Washington native proved his worth as a fill-in rider, adapting quickly to the bike and posting career best finishes in the heat races and main events within the first few rounds. The entire 51FIFTY Team is proud to continue their support for the hard working #59.

Tyler Bowers (#52) plans to return to Seattle after a fractured femur in Phoenix left him sidelined for the majority of the series. During his downtime, Bowers has continued to support the team by attending Dealer and sponsor Autograph Signings and helping “coach” the other 51FIFTY riders on race day. He has begun riding and testing the #52 machine and looks to be back to race shape when the gate drops in the Pacific North West.

Hayden Mellross (#64) has already landed a career best finish this season and hopes to continue building that momentum as the 250 West SX resumes in Seattle. The mid-season break has given the young Australian plenty of time to fully recover and rejuvenate his body from some minor injuries earlier in the year. With his drive and determination at an all time high, look for Mellross up front and within the Top 5 in the Main at the remaining rounds.
