2017 MX Season Kicks Off With Gold-15th & 16th April 2017

A huge double header kicks off the 2017 Junior & Senior MX Championship with the Goldfields Motorcycle Club with support of City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder hosting Round1 on Easter weekend – 15th & 16th April 2017.
Saturday will see the Juniors hit the track keen to start their season well – and with some of the Jnr Champs moving up to seniors – the remaining young talented riders such as Mat Fabry, Regan Duffy and Kayden Minear will be vying for points early. The Junior Quads will also be making their 2017 debut at Kalgoorlie and are sure to bring their best to the track.

On Sunday, the big boys will hit the track and our defending Champions – Dean Porter in the Shannons Insurance MX1 Class and Josh Adams in the Motul Oils MX2 Class will bring their A game to the fore as these two classes are bursting with talent and anyone could surprise – watch out for the young guns – Mitchell Outram, Billy Middleton & Kurt Oinn, who will be doing battle with the Seniors this year and the familiar hard hitters – Charlie Creech; Tyson Whincup; David Birch; Robert Lovett; Brett Norton; Mitche Taylor and Paul Humbertson – are willing and able to take it up to them.

The Veterans class has become a Championship Class for 2017 and Scott Petricevich, Trevor Unstead and the like are sure to make it an interesting season.

Our Cullys Yamaha Women’s class is really starting to show some real talent and hard hitting riders in Lily Kent, Chelsea Blakers, Meagan & Hannah Bagnall and Teleisha Outram are sure to put in some hard laps.
Quad Championship numbers for 2016 were very good and we are sure to see Luke Gaisford, Tyron Robertson, Adam Filbey and 2016 Womens ATV Champ Jemma Merrylees putting on a great battle for early points.
Be sure to get to the track early and get your position and hold onto it because the action will be fast paced, action packed and well worth it with full fields of very talented motocross riders.
