SAN BERNARDINO, CALIF. (May 27, 2017) – Troy Lee Designs rider Cole Seely put together another heart-felt effort during Round 2 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at Glen Helen Raceway, scoring sixth overall with a 7-8 moto score. Seely spent time battling with the front-runners and showcased his speed despite still being not fully 100 percent healthy.
Still feeling the effects of a lingering injury he suffered during supercross, Seely didn’t let that stop him from grabbing a great start in Moto 1. He ran second for some time before falling back to finish seventh in the opening moto. In Moto 2, he was outside the top 10 but charged hard on the challenging course and still came away with an eighth. His 7-8 moto score placed him sixth overall on the day.

“It was a decent race overall, but I want to be able to stay up front with those guys,” said Seely. “I know I have the speed, I just have to get back up to running the pace for the whole 30. With the injury it’s hard to be able to go hard all week and be able to come out on the weekend and keep the pace. We’re building so I’m confident we’ll be there soon.”

The next Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship takes Seely just outside Denver, Colorado at Thunder Valley Raceway.

Seely was wearing the all-new GP Air Prisma Honda Racewear, which was complemented by the SE4 Squadra White Helmet. See more of the 2018 gear sets and the 2018 Moto Helmets online and at your local TLD retailer.
