DEVORE, CA – FMF KTM Factory Racing Team’s Taylor Robert won his second straight World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) race on Sunday in the Pro class at Glen Helen Raceway. Robert led every lap of the race on the unique off-road course with a mix of endurocross and motocross.

Robert won the first two rounds of the series before an injury kept him out of the next four. He has now won all four WORCS races in which he’s competed this year.

With raceday temperatures expected to break triple digits, organizers shortened the race to one-and-a-half hours and started the race early to avoid temperature-related issues. Along with Glen Helen’s challenging motocross track, Robert had to contend with an endurocross section comprising logs, telephone poles and rocks, as well as a tight off-road section and a near vertical drop.

Robert snagged the holeshot aboard his KTM 450 XC-F and the Arizona native never looked back, leading every lap of the event.

Robert: “The KTM 450 XC-F worked really well. It was just awesome the whole time. I’ve always done well here and the heat is my friend. The three pro sections they added made it a lot better. Yesterday, it just seemed like the track was just a fast SXS track. But the new sections broke up the fast sections.”

Additionally, KTMs earned two out of three spots on the Pro 2 class podium as Kyle Mercier won the race and points leader Dante Oliveira finished third. Oliveira has now finished on the podium in every WORCS race this season.
