MILLVILLE, MINN. (July 22, 2017) – Troy Lee Designs rider Cole Seely racked up his seventh top-10 finish in eight rounds with his 8-6 finish at Spring Creek Motocross Park. The track didn’t make it easy on the riders as rain soaked the circuit the day before, but Seely was still able to collect eighth overall.
Moto 1 started well and Seely ended the 30 minutes plus two laps in eighth though was determined to do better in the second moto. He didn’t get the greatest start but it wouldn’t stop him from pushing through from a 16th-place start to earn sixth in Moto 2. His 8-6 was able to grant him eighth overall for his seventh top-10 result in eight rounds.

“I think I could have done better, but it was tough today with the track being a little unpredictable,” said Seely. “I am happy to stay consistent and will keep working towards a podium finish this season.”

Seely will be back next weekend for Round 9 at Washougal MX Park outside Portland, Oregon.

Seely was wearing GP Air Maze Racewear during practice before switching to SE Air Megaburst Racewear during the motos. He also wore a custom painted SE4 Helmet. See more of the 2018 gear sets and the 2018 Moto Helmets online and at your local TLD retailer.
