The 51FIFTY Energy Drink Yamaha Team is excited to announce that Justin Hoeft will ride the 2017 Washougal National aboard a 51FIFTY Energy Drink Yamaha YZ450F. Hoeft will compete at the Washougal round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship as well as other select events for the team throughout the summer.
After a break out rookie Supercross season and a phenomenal showing at Glen Helen in the 450 class, Hoeft made it clear he had what it takes to run with the fastest racers in the world. He will pilot the 51FIFTY Energy Drink Yamaha YZ450F at round 9 of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship in Washougal, Washington along with the Thursday Night Motocross Race at the Portland International Raceway (PIR) prior to the National.
“We’re excited to have Justin on board with us,” said Team Manager Craig Monty. “He showed flashes of brilliance during the Supercross season as well as a 14th overall at Glen Helen and podiums at the Mammoth Motocross race. Justin’s been a great addition to our program during the offseason testing our bikes and giving valuable feedback. We’re excited to have him aboard our bike at Washougal as well as other select events this summer.”
