The three-time defending champions of the Motocross of Nations will go into the 2017 edition of the event as strong favorites once again. The French Motorcycle Federation announced today that they have chosen 4 riders to the team. Rockstar Energy / Husqvarna ’s Gautier Paulin (MXGP), Monster Energy / Yamaha’s Romain Febvre (Open) and Yamalube /Star Racing / Yamaha’s Dylan Ferrandis (MX2) will lead the team into Matterley Basin, with Kemea Yamaha Official MX Team’s Benoit Paturel being the teams replacement rider.

It was announced that Marvin Musquin—winner of the last two AMA Nationals—will have to sit this one out due to getting his knee surgically repaired. Even with Marvin sidelined, this team will be a hard one to beat.
