After throwing down the fastest overall 250MX qualifying lap in the opening session at the 2017 Budds Creek National, Monster Energy / Pro Circuit / Kawasaki’s Joey Savatgy crashed and aggravated a leg injury he picked up at Unadilla a week ago. Joey had climbed up to third in the Championship with a late season charge, but this injury forced him to sit out the 2017 Budds Creek National today. We wish Joey a speedy recovery, and hope to see the #17 back for the finale in Indiana next weekend. You can watch video of Joey’s crash below.
