MECHANICSVILLE, MD (August 19, 2017) – Troy Lee Designs rider Cole Seely raced to his 10thtop-10 finish of the season at Budds Creek Motocross Park, scoring a 4-8 moto score for fifth overall. Seely has earned at least one top-5 moto score in each of the last three races as the season reached its penultimate race in Southern Maryland.
The Honda rider has shown his consistency once again this Pro Motocross season, only finishing outside the top-10 during the one race he sat out in Tennessee. Seely got a great start in Moto 1, running in third for most of the moto before taking the checkered flag in fourth. The Moto 2 start pushed him outside the top five and he would come around in seventh. He battled to hold position and would eventually finish eighth, giving him fifth overall.

“It’s been nice to put in a solid season so far for the team and I would love to end the season back on the podium,” said Seely. “The race was tough today with the rain that we got on Friday. It was rutted and rough, but we were able to get fifth so it was a pretty decent day.”

Seely will head to the final Pro Motocross race of the season next weekend in Crawfordville, Indiana at the Ironman National.

Seely was wearing the GP Checkered Racewear, along with a custom SE4 Streamline Helmet. See more of the 2018 gear sets and the 2018 Moto Helmets online and at your local TLD retailer.
