During the 250SX heat race, Jon Ames got block passed, sent over the berm and onto the start straight backwards while another rider was wide open coming the other direction. We have not heard who the other rider is, but the end result was a gnarly collision. Nothing official, but we hear it also resulted in a couple broken bones for Jon Ames.
The TV show did not show the collision, but the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC / KTM truck driver got some video of the incident and posted it on his Instagram. It has me wondering what the heck Ames was thinking accelerating going backwards, but in the heat of the moment we all do weird things I guess.
