Payson, UT (Feb.19, 2018) – It was another spectacular night of racing as round seven of the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross, an FIM World Championship, Series headed to the larger-than-life AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, this past Saturday night. Blake Baggett once again put himself on the podium for the third race in a row, while Benny Bloss continued to improve and the team’s 250SX East rider, Anthony Rodriguez, started his season.

Blake started the day finding the fast way around the track, posting the 5th-fastest time during qualifying. He launched out of the gate in his heat race, using the power from his FMF Racing exhaust to nearly grab the holeshot. Blake hit his marks every lap on the challenging track to finish 5th and transfer straight to the main event. In the main, another powerful start almost propelled Blake to the holeshot. After sliding back a few spots early on, he never let up and charged back up to 3rd spot by the mid-race point. He kept the throttle pinned and closed the gap, finishing the night with his third podium in a row in 3rd place. That ride now jumps him to 3rd in the championship points standings, just four points out of second.

“I feel good about tonight’s ride,” said Baggett. “Coming in, I wasn’t feeling well, but I pulled it together with two decent starts and rode consistently for my third podium. While it feels good, we’ll keep pushing for those two top positions.”

Benny Bloss continues to improve and looked solid in Arlington. In his heat, Benny charged from deep in the pack, working his way to finish 7th and transfer straight to the main. In the main, Benny put down consistent laps and charged to a 14th place at the checkered flag.

The team’s 250SX East rider, Anthony Rodriguez, started his season this past weekend aboard the #56 KTM. Anthony looked comfortable out of the gate, as he put down the 14th-fastest time of the day. A solid start helped him in his heat race as he battled for a transfer spot to the main. He made a last-lap pass to finish 9th and put himself solidly into the main event. Unfortunately, in the main, Anthony got caught up in a first-turn pileup that sent him flying through the air and ended his night.
