This has been the strangest season in SX history and ranking riders has been very difficult. While Jason Anderson has a huge points lead, he’s still not our unanimous #1. Photo by: Chase Yocom

Each and every week, Chris Cooksey and Dan Lamb will list their top ten power rankings for the 450SX class and the 250SX class in Monster Energy Supercross. The lists are based on results, health, speed, fitness and consistency during the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross series. The points have some weight in the list, but it is just one of many factors.

This is our top 10 heading into the 2018 Tampa SX. Because of first turn pileup in 250’s last weekend, this was by far the hardest week ever for ranking a top 10 in the 250 class

The 250 East started off with a bang in the first turn. Osborne got the first win of ’18, but Davalos, Martin, Forkner, Ferrandis, Smith and more all hit the ground in the first turn. Photo by: Chase Yocom
