Scott is a brand that does not need a long introduction, as they are one of the most recognizable brands in AMA Supercross and Motocross. From professional to amateur ranks, you will see Scott products up and down the gate. The Prospect goggle is Scott’s premier google which was introduced last year to compete with the other high end goggle manufacturers, and compete it does! I will not BS anyone here; I am very familiar with this product as it is my main choice of eye wear when it comes to riding. I have been rocking the Scott Prospect goggle since they were released early last year.

First thing is the price, and at $89.95 this high end goggle is reasonably priced. One of the biggest factors when it comes to buying a new set of goggles is, are you going to need to get a second mortgage on the house to afford them? You get a great value with the Prospect goggle. They come with an extra clear lens, microfiber goggle case and a nose guard. The vision out the Prospect is extremely wide, as the frame of the goggle does not get in the way of your line of site at all. After wearing them for a little while you almost forget that you have a set of goggles on your face. The foam around your face creates a seal, but is still incredibly comfortable. Also there is excellent vision up and down with the larger frame, but that’s only half the battle; the other half is the lens. Scott uses a high end lens that they refer to as the “SCOTT TruView single WORKS lens NoFog™ Anti-Fog lens treatment”. It has a clear, non-cloudy view out of the lens, and if you go with the blue lens, you get an extra crisp picture back to your eyes. Also the lens is resistant against scratching for a longer life span.

You ask though, what happens if you do scratch that lens or need to switch out to a clear lens? Well, Scott has you covered with a quick change lens lock system. As there are two points&mdsah;one on the top and one on the bottom–that pull out. After that, you pull out the lens and you are ready to install the new lens. Another key factor is the silicone strap. It is large with plenty of grip. Another feature I like is how the frame attaches to the goggle. Scott uses an outrigger system that allows the strap and goggle to move independently of each other. They use a triple layer molded face foam that keeps the sweat out of your eyes. It is extremely soft to touch and is also quick drying.

Well, there you have it, the Product Feature of the Scott Prospect goggle from your friends at MotoXAddicts.com. Please check out the video below if you would like to see the goggle a little closer.
