We are usually pretty good about getting injury updates out more quickly, but there were more riders ejecting from their bikes and getting injured on Saturday night in Atlanta than I think we have ever witnessed at a single race. Just the Autotrader / JGR / Suzuki team alone saw both Weston Peick and Justin Hill ejecting off their Suzuki 450’s and rolling the windows up. In true Weston style, he walked away reasonably uninjured—we can’t say the same thing for the Atlanta soil—but Hill walked away on some broken toes and a hurt shoulder.

In the end, the JGR team was grateful that both riders walked away okay and will live to fight another day.”Overall, no one is hurt too badly,” said Jeremy Albrecht [Team Manager]. “Considering how difficult the track was, and how big of crashes the guys had, I’m happy that we could walk away from this one.” With Hill flying on the 450 we were hoping to see him race it through Daytona, but Jeremy went on to say the #46 with switch back to the #1w 250F. “The plan for Hill is to return to the Suzuki RM-Z250 in preparation for the remaining 250 West Supercross rounds.”

Check out Justin Hill’s crash that he sent out from his @JustinHill46 Instagram account.
