Just a couple of races back from an earlier injury, Monster Energy / Yamaha’s Cooper Webb crashed at the 2018 Minneapolis SX and injured himself once again. “Little update for you guys, Cooper said from his @CooperWebb2 Instagram. “Last night in Minneapolis I was involved with some carnage in the rhythm section right off the start, and I ended up getting landed on in the 1st main event of the night. I ended up with a fractured tibia as of now. Have an appointment Monday with an ortho to see the final word. Extremely bummed to say the least… but I do know it’s hard to beat someone who won’t give up. I’ll be back soon #GodsPlan Thank you to all my sponsors and people in my corner for the uplifting.”

This is a bum deal for a rider that has already had a rough start to his 450 career and I’m sure was looking for a new beginning at the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. This injury will definitely end the #2’s SX season and force him to miss the beginning of outdoors. We will update you as soon as we get more official information on Cooper’s status.
