Small mistakes have hurt Troy Lee Designs / Red Bull / KTM’s Alex Martin all year, and a mistake once again bit the #26 in the opening moto of the 2018 Tennessee National today. After surrendering the lead to his little brother, GEICO / Honda’s Jeremy Martin, Alex looked like he might go back after the #6, but a very strange crash while running 2nd took him out of podium contention for the moto. Alex remounted and finished the moto back in 12th.
