The 2018 450SX Monster Energy Supercross Champion, Rockstar Energy / Husqvarna’s Jason Anderson, has been out of action since colliding with a rider during a practice session at Glen Helen and sustaining a compound fracture to his foot in June. Today, though, the #21 is back on the factory Husqvarna turning laps for the first time.

Jason’s foot back in June.

There were rumors that Jason might still be chosen to represent Team America at the 2018 Motocross of Nations at RedBud in October, but we have since heard that the team will consist of Eli Tomac (MXGP), Justin Barcia (Open) and Aaron Plessinger (MX2). We are pumped to see ElHombre back on the bike, but with him spending the last two months in recovery I think Barcia was probably the safer choice.

Jason announced his return to riding from his Instagram story.

We have heard that Jason may be back before the outdoor season concludes in Indiana next month, but I would not be surprised if we don’t see him until Monster Cup in October.
