The Motocross of Nations is unique in many ways, and the qualifying gate pick balloting is definitely one of the more unique aspects of the event. For the qualifying races, gate picks are decided by a random draw and today Team USA got a little luck on their side.
Of the top teams for todays’s MXoN, Team USA came out with the best pick and will go to the line 2nd for all three qualifying races. This is a big deal anywhere, but in the mud it is especially important.
