Just in from the Rockstar Freestone MX National: Red Bull/KTM’s Marvin Musquin looks to have suffered a compound fracture of his left thumb after being taken down by Justin Barcia’s bike in the opening moto. Barcia—after grabbing the holeshot—grabbed a handful of front breaks in turn two and flew over the bars, sending his bike directly into Marvin Musquin. I saw the crash…. :O barcia’s bike hit him.
yeah it did.. Right upside the head. Not sure if it was Barcia’s bike that broke his thumb or the crash after. Either way I heard a report from someone that his thumb looked really bad. I am a big Musquin fan and I know how much succeeding in the US must mean to him so I hope he comes back quick. It has been a very rough 6-8 months for the Frenchman.
