Wharton Racing Announces Blake Wharton to RockStar Energy Suzuki for the 2012 Supercross/Motocross Season

Pilot Point, TX – Wharton Racing is pleased to announce the signing of Blake Wharton to the RockStar Energy Suzuki lites squad for the 2012 Supercross
and Motocross season.

Blake is still recovering from double shoulder surgeries this summer and will be riding in early October. With a new team and healed up body, Blake is going into the 2012 Supercross season with new confidence and desire to put the RockStar Suzuki on the top of the podium. RockStar Suzuki is currently working on which series Blake will be contesting and will announce in the next several weeks.

Blake has had a great relationship the past four years with the Geico Honda racing team, one as an amateur and three contesting the AMA pro supercross and motocross series. Blake would like to thank everyone at
Geico Honda including owners Jeff Majkrzak, Rick Zielfelder, Mike
Grondahl, and manager Mike LaRocco for their support.

During his six months off, Blake has been honing his music and singing
skills and is looking forward to recording some personal songs in the near
future. Along with music, Blake’s other passion is his faith. He has been
planning and participating in local DFW ministry events and has a
motocross camp planned in the fall.
