Ben Townley signed on the dotted line today with the Carlton Dry Honda team to contest the Australian Motocross Nationals aboard the Factory Honda 450 in 2012. Over the last four years of racing, Ben has experienced his fair share of bad luck and will be looking to rebuild in 2012. Ben has been all over the world and has a myriad of motocross titles to show for his travels. Ben will look to be one of the favorites in the 2012 Australian Motocross Championship.

Ben is a former Dutch Motocross Champion, New Zealand National Champion, AMA National winner, Lites Regional Supercross Champion, FIM World Motocross Grand Prix winner and MX2 World Champion–and is still relatively young at 27 years of age. Since 2007, injuries have kept Ben on the sidelines the majority of the last five years, but you can still expect Ben to be a serious contender to win his first-ever Australian Championship.
