Murrieta, CA- Josh Grant’s highly anticipated return to the track for the DNA Energy Drink / Jeff Ward Racing team is set for this weekend at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for round 11 of the 2012 AMA Supercross season. Grant, who has been on the sidelines for the last seven rounds rehabbing a shoulder injury sustained at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles back in January, has been riding strong the last couple weeks and is looking primed and ready to get back aboard his No. 33 DNA Energy Drink / Jeff Ward Racing Kawasaki KX450.
“We’ve been watching Josh ride for the last couple weeks and have really liked what we have seen out of him,” said Jeff Ward, co-owner of Jeff Ward Racing. “He’s riding great and really attacking the track again so we feel its time for his return. He’s certainly eager to return and you can tell he wants it. It’s been unfortunate to have him on the sidelines for the last few rounds but we had to take the necessary steps to give him the best possible scenario to return healthy. We didn’t want to rush the process and are looking forward to having him back at the track with us this weekend.”
