Check out the crash on the last lap of the Lites East Main Event at the 2012 Houston Supercross. GEICO Powersports/Honda’s Justin Barcia had a huge lead, but a crash with Munn Racing/Ankle-Savers’ Lance Vincent cost him his sixth win of the year. After the race, Bam Bam was not too happy, and the #1 made sure to roost both Lance Vincent and Red Bull/KTM’s Ken Roczen, who benefited the most from the crash by inheriting the win. Do you think it was Lance Vincents fault? Comment below to let us know what you think.

Fuck that guy
Vincent got on the gas after Barcia passed him and that made him get out of shape and loose control of his bike. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and say it wasn’t intentional, but you could easily make a case against it. Why he didn’t behave in a professional manner while being lapped is beyond me. I can be sure of one thing though, and that is, whatever coverage Vincent got as a result, will probably be the highlight of his career.
If Barcia is going to laps someone, he has to stay on the gas so the guy stays lapped. He was riding lazily and he jumped diagonally across the track into the line of another rider. Sloppy on Barcia’s part.
Riding lazily doesn’t put you several seconds in front of the guy in second place. However, it does allow you to go from 8th to 13th before being lapped. Comments like the one above are proof that lappers exist even off the track. That being said, I will not waste time explaining blue flags, lane integrity, or any of that silly technical motocross stuff. If you want your limitations to go unnoticed, I would suggest a tractor pull.
It’s supercross. Not motocross. And Barcia had no right to roost Vincent and the medical crew like that.
Barcia shouldn’t have rusted anyone, but since they weren’t just playing tiddly winks, I understand how that happened.
Yeah, Vincent had no right to be that close to the leader, even though his race was to catch the next guy in front of Barcia. For the persons comment on lazy riding, just so happens the next lapper was just in front of Barcia as he jumped. Looked as if he was forced to slow down.
Barcia deserves to be angry but should learn how to tone down his anger. I love to see a guy race with his heart every week like Barcia does, but Vincent obviously lost control on the jump before the incident. Hopefully they shook hands and made up because that was just one of those wrong place, wrong time incidents. Either way I can’t wait to see the Barcia/Roczen rivalry in the years to come, (assuming Barcia doesn’t move up after this year.)
really everyone? you can tell that JB51 got taken out by Vincent. and to all the retards saying “he slowed down” “he is lazy” HE IS THE CHAMP OF SUPERCROSS TWICE. dumbasses.
