The 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship series, went to Houston, Texas for round number thirteen of the Supercross Class Championship and round number seven of the Eastern Regional Lites series. Both Main Events inside Reliant Stadium were dominated once again by the #1 bikes of Monster Energy/Kawasaki’s 2012 AMA Supercross Champion, Ryan Villopoto, and GEICO Powersports/Honda’s Justin Barcia, but a last lap mishap involving a Barcia and a lapper sent him back to finish second behind Red Bull/KTM’s Ken Roczen. Overall, the two fastest laps of the night were also turned in by the #1 bikes. RV ran a 46.361 to Bam Bam’s 46.435. You can see how the races broke down in the graphs below.
On the left of each graph, you will notice the lap times and the numbers on the bottom signifying each lap. Below that, we have the top five riders in the order they finished and each lap time from the Main Event after their name. Also, note that each rider’s fastest lap is shaded in blue.
