Hopefully we will see Townley on this bike during the 2012 Outdoor Nationals.

Carlton Dry/Honda/Thor—soon to be TwoTwo Motorsports—rider Ben Townley went down hard today at round two of the Monster Energy MX Nationals at Coonabarabran in New South Wales. The early prognosis for the very likable Kiwi is a dislocated hip.

We hope, like most motocross fans alive, that it is not as bad as it seems. The #101 has spent his career on the cusp of greatness only to have one injury after the next hold him back. This was to be Ben’s last race in Australia before heading to the States for one more championship push at the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship for the TwoTwo Motorsports/Honda team.

The injury was confirmed by the guys over at MotoOnline.com.au. Check out the story here>>
