Ryan Dungey has been ditching the competition at almost every track this season, and as he rode out of his hometown track of Spring Creek with another overall win he was feeling more than confident coming into Washougal. Although Washougal served as home to Ryan Dungey’s first-ever win, this race would serve as a reminder that Dungey is fallible — but still a winner.

Following Dungey’s fifth consecutive win at Washougal, he passed insider info on to his teammates Ken Roczen and Marvin Musquin. The info may have helped Musquin who finished fourth overall, however Roczen took his worst finish of the season in seventh. With only four races left the entire team is revving up and ready to continue their assault in orange for a final stride toward the checkered flag.
