There is still no official press release, but the man himself, Mitch Payton, announced on last night’s PulpMX Show that he signed rookie Justin Hill to race for his Monster/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team in 2013. Justin, the younger brother of Josh Hill, has been a standout throughout his amateur career, but there are some question marks due to the rookie just recently returning from a long layoff.
Justin suffered a knee injury that took him out for much of 2012, but he definitely showed his SX skills when he won the amateur class at the 2011 Monster Energy Cup. He will join the already formidable Pro Circuit team of Blake Baggett, Darryn Durham and Martin Davalos during the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross series.
