The Motocross of Nations remains the ultimate showcase for dirt bike riding on the planet and the 2012 edition proved to be one of the best displays of MX riding you’ll ever have the privilege of watching.

Set in the savage conditions of Lommel, Belgium where the sand morphed from smooth as silk lines to sheer cavernous ruts, it was energy sapping as it was spectacular.

Bringing together the best AMA and GP riders we saw the likes of Cairoli, Baggett, Coppins, Herlings, Dungey, Roczen, Paulin, Barcia and Searle mixing it up for national pride in front of tens of thousands of baying fans. The sheer consistency of Team Germany won out and overturned a spectacular run from Team USA whilst the home crowd got to celebrate Belgium in second spot on the podium.
