GEICO’s Eli Tomac is honestly one of the most competitive kids that I’ve seen come up in recent memory.  Don’t let that disarming smile fool you….Eli is all business and knows what he wants and has a plan to get there.  That dedication was apparent last weekend when he won the final moto at the Monster Energy Cup in front of a ton of talented 450 riders.  We’ll check in with the Colorado native before the numbing grind of testing and the restless off-season truly begins.

Shane McElrath was a breakout star at Loretta Lynn’s this year and kept that momentum going with an impressive win in the first Amateur All-Stars’ moto at the MEC.  An unfortunate crash in the second moto kept him out of contention for the overall, but the recent Troy Lee Designs signed rider officially stepped out of the shadows that night and will be one to watch in 2013.

Jimmy DeCotis has quickly become a fan favorite here at DMXS.  The quick-witted speedster from Peabody, Massachusetts is an easy kid to pull for and has a dedicated fan base that can’t wait to see him back on the gate.  We’ll get the latest on his plans after recovering from the dreaded knee ligament surgery that just plain sucks.

David Pingree is still heavily involved in the sport even though he took a step back a few years ago to pursue his current career path.  Ping is currently working with some talented riders, including the amateur phemon Adam Cianciarulo.  Ping should have some great commentary on the MEC and we’ll cover all that and more on tonight’s show.
