Last weekend, Blake Baggett was involved in a pile-up right after the first turn in the Anaheim 1 250SX main event that resulted in a broken bone in his wrist. The #4 was determined to continue in the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross Series and, we hear, cut his cast off for the Phoenix SX, but the pain was just too much. After qualifying with the 12th best time in Phoenix, Blake pulled out of the event in too much pain to race. We are now hearing that he may in fact have to have surgery, which will no doubt take him out of the 2013 SX season. We will expect the 2012 250 Outdoor National Champion to be healed up and ready to defend that Championship starting at Hangtown. We will bring you more when an official statement is released.
