Can it get any worse for a small satellite team? Probably not. The Jab Motorsports team lost their 250SX East rider to a gnarly crash in the first free practice in Dallas—Gannon Audette fractured his pelvis and broke his collarbone. Soon after, Matt Lemoine also had a huge get-off and tore his ACL. For Gannon, this has to be an incredibly tough pill to swallow due to the fact that he was out the majority of 2012 with an injury, and for Lemoine it has to be equally tough considering he was having a breakthrough year as a rookie in the 450 class. Also feeling the pain is the Jab Motorsports guys who are now looking at two vacant motorcycles. We hope both riders get healed up and the team can find a way to make some positives out of what was shaping up to be a great season for them.
Check out the tweet that Matt Lemoine sent out today about tearing his ACL below.
Couldn’t be more bummed on myself and letting all my friends and family down tonight.
