At the final round of the 2014 AMSOIL Arenacross in Salt Lake City, Utah, Team Babbitt’s/Monster Energy/Kawasaki’s Tyler Bowers clinched his fourth-straight Arenacross Class Championship. The winner of last year’s 250SX Eastern Regional Supercross finale in Las Vegas, once again outlasted all the yougsters and veterans to add another championship to his legendary Arenacross resume.

What makes the last two Championships even more impressive is that he won both despite having the points evened up for the last six rounds for the “Race to the Championship” format. Last year, Bowers filled in on Mitch Payton’s injury-littered Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team for the last four rounds of the 250SX Eastern Regional Championship and scored two podiums and a win on the bigger stage. With that, there is talk of Bower’s once again joining the Pro Circuit squad on the 250F at the East Rutherford, New Jersey round of Monster Energy Supercross, but nothing is slated in ink quite yet.

After Bowers clinched his Championship, Dave Deringer caught up with Bower’s and sent over this interview. Click play below to hear from the now four-time AX champ and one-time 250SX Supercross main event winner.
