After a bad start during the 2014 East Rutherford Supercross main event, Yoshimura/Suzuki’s James Stewart put his foot down in a corner and appeared to injure his left knee—the same knee that took James out for a full season back in 2007-2008. With his knee in obvious pain, #7 immediately pulled up lame and was forced to pull out of the race tonight inside MetLife Stadium.

With James’ DNF, he fell from second to third in the 450SX Championship standings. After the race, MotoXAddicts was told that James tweaked his knee and would be getting it checked out by his doctors early next week. We will bring you more updates as they become available.
