Yesterday, rumors were out there that Monster/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Darryn Durham had torn his ACL while practicing. Today, Darryn put out a tweet that confirmed that he is injured, but the injury is a fractured tibial plateau. While the injury is different, it still looks like Durham will miss a good portion of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. With Darryn recently returning from a long list of injuries and in the final year of his Monster/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki contract, this could not have come at a worse time. At this point, there is still no official word from his team or a timetable on his return, but we will post more as soon as we get more info.
Check out what Darryn Durham tweeted earlier from his @DarrynDurham Twitter account to update everyone.
Thanks for all the motivating tweets!! I had a crash yesterday resulting in a fracture of my Tibial Plateau. Not ACL like people are saying
