Red Bull/KTM’s Marvin Musquin was on the sidelines for all of the 2014 Supercross season with a knee injury, and today, in his first appearance of the year at the 2014 Glen Helen National, it looks like the former two-time MX2 World Champion may be injured again. During the first qualifying session at Glen Helen, the Frenchman separated his shoulder. He finished the qualifying session with the 12th fastest time and finished 15th overall with all the sessions combined.

We’re told Marvin is in serious pain, but that he will go ahead and try to race the opening round of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship today and score some valuable points. The #25 is still not 100% from his ACL replacement surgery earlier this year, and this will no doubt hold the Championship favorite back even more. At this time, there’s no official word from the Red Bull/KTM team, but we will bring you more when we get more information.
