Red Bull/KTM’s Antonio Cairoli crashed out of the MXGP qualifying race at the 2015 MXGP of Italy in Maggiora this morning. The #222 was leading the race before he crashed, and we’re told the defending MXGP Champion possibly injured his wrist. Specifics on the Italians injuries are vague at the moment, but we’re told he was carted off the track and taken to the on-site medical center for further examination. With Max Nagl leading Cairoli by nineteen points in the MXGP Championship and winning today’s qualifying race, he has a huge advantage going into tomorrow’s races. We will bring you more updates on Cairoli’s condition when we hear more.
