After his breakout ride at Red Bud, where he lead most of moto two and finished fourth overall, Christian Craig came into the Spring Creek National ready to take it to the next level. Unfortunately injuries don’t care about confidence and can strike at any time in motocross. Christian knows that all too well, and last weekend in Millville Christian’s shoulder popped out in moto one. The #68 popped it back in and tried to ride through the pain in moto two, but his shoulder was just too weak.

After the race, Christian talked about the injury, “I felt my shoulder pop, and from there on it bothered me the rest of the day. I tried to go back out for the second moto and made my way through the pack, but around Lap 5 or 6, my shoulder started feeling weak, and I couldn’t hang on anymore. I didn’t want to put myself in danger and make it worse.

Craig said he would be back for the Washougal National next Saturday at Washougal MX Park in Washington state.
